Alex Trenchard brought us on board initially to help populate the growing festival with immersive performance. A few years later we were billed as Artistic Directors.

With the festival’s performative and installation elements taking more of a centre stage every year, the company provided the creative, and eventually the practical knowhow to make each year better than the last.

The themes we worked on with Alex covered wildly varied narratives, from Space, to Crime, to Undersea Adventures… Working with the art team and the onsite machine that runs a music festival was a pleasure from start to finish. For the eagle eyed, spot the now quite famous Mary Wiseman below in her role as The Secretary in our legendary Heliocentre.

Total audience – unquantifiable. It’s possible we were all seeing double. Nobody could count under those conditions…
